Dr. Yaşar Selim Seval
Co-Founder, Chairman of the Board
Yaşar Selim Seval holds an MBA from Boğaziçi University and a PhD in Finance from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive roles including Head of Investment and Finance at AlBaraka Private Finance Institution, Deputy General Manager at Pamukbank, and General Manager at Demir Faktoring.
He has also served as a Founding Member, Board Member, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Finar (Dun & Bradstreet Türkiye). He currently serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Boğaziçi University.
Ali Esat Yönder
Co-Founder, Vice Chairman of the Board
Ali Esat Yönder graduated from the Polymer Technology Department at Loughborough University and completed his master’s degree at the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University.
As a Founding Member of Akın Mensucat A.Ş., he has served as a Board Member at Edpa Tekstil A.Ş., Tekstil Bankası A.Ş., and Akın Holding A.Ş. He currently serves as a Board Member of Git Girişim İnşaat Ticaret A.Ş.
Kazım Can Saydam
Co-Founder, Board Member
Kazım Can Saydam graduated from the German High School and completed his undergraduate studies at Tufts University with a double major in History and International Trade.
He began his career in the sales departments of companies engaged in export-oriented production for the North American market. In 2011, he founded a startup providing software solutions for the education sector and corporate enterprises.
He is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Octet Türkiye, established in 2015, which provides collections and payment solutions that enable companies to maintain strong cash flow and liquidity.
Derya Ekemen Fidan
Chief Executive Officer, Board Member
Derya Ekemen Fidan completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Marmara University and earned her master’s degree in Business Administration from Istanbul Technical University.
With over 30 years of experience in the finance sector, she has held key leadership roles including Head of International Factoring Group at Yapı Kredi Faktoring A.Ş. and Head of Global Trade and Factoring at HSBC Bank A.Ş. She also served as General Manager at Figo Ticari Bilgi ve Uygulama Platformu A.Ş.
Since 2020, she has been serving as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Octet Türkiye.

Nurdan Seval
Chief Operating Officer
Nurdan Seval graduated from Denizli Anatolian High School. She completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Istanbul University and earned her master’s degree in Economics and Finance from Boğaziçi University.
She began her career in project finance departments at various banks, where she worked for approximately 12 years before joining Octet Türkiye.
Since 2015, she has been serving as Chief Operating Officer at Octet Türkiye.
Ömer Yönder
Co-Founder, Chief Strategy Officer
Ömer Yönder graduated from the German High School and completed his undergraduate studies in Information and Systems Engineering at Lehigh University.
He began his career as a Business Development Specialist at Ticketturk Bilet Dağıtım A.Ş. He later served as Energy & Business Development Director at Akın Holding A.Ş. and as an executive responsible for Operations and Credit at Akın Faktoring A.Ş.
Following his tenure at Akın Holding, he worked as Investment Manager at Edip Gayrimenkul A.Ş. Between 2009 and 2014, he served as Managing Partner at Galata Yiyecek İçecek ve Turizm Ltd. Şti.
He is a Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Octet Türkiye, established in 2015.
Zeynep Bulut
Chief Product Officer
Zeynep Bulut graduated from Üsküdar American Academy. She completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Koç University and earned her master’s degree in Information Technology from City, University of London.
She began her career in Technology Consulting at PwC, where she worked for approximately seven years before joining Octet Türkiye.
Since 2016, she has been serving as Chief Product Officer at Octet Türkiye.
Risk and Compliance
Fatih Kaya
Chief Risk and Compliance Officer
Fatih Kaya began his career at HSBC in 2000 while studying at the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University. After gaining experience in fraud risk, he was appointed to manage processes related to the prevention of fraud in credit card and loan applications.
He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Anadolu University and later served as Assistant Manager in the Internal Control Unit at Aktif Yatırım Bankası.
From 2016 onwards, he focused on risk management and compliance, serving as Risk Management and Compliance Manager at CMT and Wirecard.
He joined Octet Türkiye in 2021 and currently serves as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.

Simge Ölmez
Internal Control Manager
Simge Ölmez completed her undergraduate studies in History at Eskişehir Osmangazi University.
She began her career at HSBC Bank A.Ş. in 2016 as a Compliance Analyst in the Financial Crime Risk Department. Between 2018 and 2021, she was directly responsible for MASAK reporting while also conducting financial crime risk investigations.
Since 2020, she has held the CICS certification awarded by the Internal Control Institute (ICI). She has been serving as Internal Control Manager at Octet Türkiye since 2021.
